After a three year hold, the US FDA (Food and Drug Administration) recently approved Phase 2 trial of cannabis for treating PTSD.
The trial is being funded by the Michigan Veteran Marijuana Research Grant Program. The study will include 320 military veterans with PTSD, anxiety, depression and sleep problems. Dr. Sue Sisley has been a leader for over 10 years in helping military veterans access cannabis to treat their PTSD, and it looks like hope is finally breaking through.
