In a 321-101 vote the bill is now moving to the US Senate for a vote. The SAFE Banking Act of 2021 allows financial institution and banks to do business with cannabis businesses without penalty from the federal government. The AGREEN1 March 8 issue discussed the fact that this nascent industry has already created 321,00 jobs and all without the support of real government-backed financial institutions. Looking forward to it passing in the Senate soon. It’s another forward-leaning and game-changing event that will create more green opportunities on multiple levels.
