Wildtype, a San Francisco-based food company setting a new path in seafood consumption, was founded in 2016 by a molecular biologist who is also a cardiologist and a former U.S. Diplomat. Wildtype is known for its sushi-grade salmon harvested indoors through circular agriculture.

Wildtype held its Series B funding round in February and made $100 million in that investment round. The innovative food company now has over $120 million to promote its cell-grown salmon far and wide. They are hiring!
