We know them as mushrooms, fungi, and mycelium. Fun fact, they are in undergoing research and development to replace many environmentally damaging products such as plastics, leathers, insulation, foams, and cattle for meat. Each product is 100% compostable and at super speeds.
New York-based Ecovative Design, LLC has been at this since 2007. Called the biomaterials industry, Ecovative has blazed trails and has a client list from HP to IKEA to Dell. Sounds like this mycelium resource still has room to mushroom and grow, right?
