With a new geothermal project in Nevada, it’s full steam ahead for Google to be one hundred per cent green with 24/7 carbon-free energy by the end of this decade. Partnering up with clean energy start-up Fervo, it will be the first corporate agreement to create the next-generation geothermal power project that will be carbon-free and fossil fuel free. The new technology will feature walls with fiber-optic cables to analyze real time data to help Fervo regulate energy flow. It will use AI learning and algorithms to help improve waste and increase efficiency. Google is already underway with the world’s largest corporate solar storage-plus-power project in Nevada. Pushing boldly into clean energy is Google’s greatest goal.
