Heineken has declared this the Decade of Action meaning that no more denial. Dorf van den Brink, the CEO of Heineken said they will be carbon neutral… by 2030 in order to meet the 1.5˚C goal set by the Paris Agreement. They will also going to make sure that their entire value chain of suppliers, packing, distributors, all of it, is carbon neutral by 2040. There was a 51% reduction in CO2 emissions from their breweries since 2008, while production increased 71%, according to CEO. The company proved that business growth and lower emission can successfully coexist.
