The San Diego County Water Department and San Diego City plan to build and operate a pumped-storage power plant in the San Vicente Reservoir. This will create more stable electricity throughout California. According to the Waterworks Bureau, the project will cost about $1.5 billion. The department is now looking for a serious partner to bring the project into reality. The bid will remain open until November 3.
