The Israel-based investment firm Pepper Invest is bringing cryptocurrency trading to its platform. Pepper’s parent company, Leumi Group, reached an agreement with U.S. based blockchain infrastructure platform, Paxos, recently to enable crypto trading on its online banking platform.
Accordingly, Pepper Invest customers will then buy, sell, and hold Bitcoin and Ethereum on the platform. Pepper also plans to allow customers to trade other cryptocurrencies in the future. The deal makes Pepper the first financial firm in Israel to offer cryptocurrency services and one of the first in the world. Now we wait and see how the wrinkles and bugs get worked out.
