Elon Musk and his company, SpaceX, created Starlink in 2015. The goal was to provide satellite internet access to the world; especially to remote locations where there tends to be terrible or no internet connectivity. Starlink claims to have served more than 10,000 users globally.
However, many who gave $100 deposit eights and nine months ago are still waiting. Yet, Musk tweeted on October 14 that Starlink is in talks with airlines to provide in-flight WiFi service. Staying tuned on that one.
