In the March 15 issue of AGREEN1, we shared that Vertical Harvest was taking innovation by the horns by creating jobs, free housing, local fresh produce in a vertical farm that is carbon neutral. This is a food supply chain disruption that is happening in France at Jungle and Germany at InFarm. Denmark has Nordic Harvest, and they are collaborating with YesHealth Group to build a vertical farm powered by wind. They had their first harvest in December 2020. These are certainly the salad days of this cleaner and greener new farming system.
