When the ice melts

Earthlings, do you remember that we have five oceans: Indian, Arctic, Atlantic, Pacific, and Antarctic? Well, the Atlantic Ocean is on the path to big problems.

The icebergs and ice sheets that are melting around Greenland due to global warming are the cause.

The freshwater from the melting icebergs and ice sheets makes the Atlantic water less salty. It needs to be salty to ensure that the oceans and air circulate properly. This is called the Atlantic Meridional Overturning Circulation (AMOC), and oceanographers refer to it as the thermostat of the Earth.

Australia and South America will get hotter, and the East Coast of the US will experience more rain. Sea levels will rise up to three feet, and temperatures will cool in England, France, Germany, and other parts of Western Europe. Do your part to help prevent this. Avoid fossil fuels and plastics and use as many alternative products and services as possible.
