Alphabet, the parent company of Google has entered an agreement with U.S. pharmacy chain Walgreens to deploy drone delivery services in densely populated areas. The drone unit, called Wing, will start in the Dallas-Fort Worth area to serve parts of Frisco and Little Elm. Eventually, the service will expand nationwide. Walgreen is using technology to help mitigate the stress of in-person pickups for its customers. Is that good for you? Sounds counterintuitive to boosting in-store impulse shopping, right?
