United Airlines still does not allow passengers to make payments with any cards on board, despite COVID-19 rules lifting across the aviation industry. The policy was among the safety measures United Airlines took during the pandemic. Since 2020, United Airlines stopped accepting cash, and only allowed passengers who preloaded their credit or debit cards into their accounts to purchase refreshments during travel. It is currently trying to integrate the PayPal payment option across its flights.

It has even stopped offering refreshments whatsoever on domestic Main Cabin flights. Other airlines are pretty much as they were before the COVID. What have your flight experiences been like lately, friendly skies?
