A simple solution against insomnia, cardiovascular disease, inflammation, stress and much more is growing in popularity. Ever heard of earthing?

Earthing, aka grounding, is the act of bringing your skin in contact with the Earth. Growing scientific evidence suggests that the electrons on the Earth’s surface transfer the energy from the ground into the body. Earth’s electrons produce multiple beneficial changes in the areas of insomnia, cardiovascular disease, inflammation, stress and much more.

It’s as simple as tip-toeing through the tulips. Literally walking on the bare Earth without asphalt, concrete paving, or rubber-soled shoes is grounding. This direct contact with any Earth’s surface enables electrons to flow through the body and eliminate free radicals and inflammation.

Ever heard of the autonomic nervous system (ANS)? It controls the muscles of internal organs such as the heart, the glands, the stomach, the liver, the lungs, and more. It is a pathway that sends signals to the body to communicate with the brain. It’s required for breathing. These pathways become dysfunctional with prolonged experiences of stress.

The research, especially a study that was published in the NIH on Jan. 12, 2012, along with many anecdotal reports, continues to grow.
