It might be early, but still worth mentioning. Currently, WiFi (wireless fidelity) is what is used to connect electronic devices. It uses radio waves to produce a “wireless” connection since 1996. The newer technology is called Li-Fi for “light fidelity”.
While this newer technology has been known for over 20 years, real experiments were not being conducted until 2018. Li-Fi technology is transferring data from LED light bulbs! Li-Fi technology claims to be faster and more secure that WiFi data transmission. It also increasing connectivity availability, so less “dead zones”. The range a device can connect will be limited and compatibility with devices and decoding data.
