Last week, the Bitcoin space experienced a series of remarkable incidents! According to blockchain tracker Whale Alert, a bitcoin whale moved more than $600 million worth of bitcoin between wallets for a total of exactly 10,000 BTC.
The two days of mega transactions ranged from 1,000 – 3,006 BTC involving Xapo bank app, Binance and Coinbase. Some say the new Covid variant has caused the price of bitcoin to drop and others believe it’s this whale’s sell off. Regardless, the price of bitcoin (BTC) has dropped in the last week from a high of around $59,180 to a low of around $53,695. It is currently around $57,240. As the saying goes: buy in the dip.
