Pandora is the name of a music app, and it’s also the name of a global jeweler based in Copenhagen, Denmark. The jewelry is beautiful, and they have taken a hard look at their carbon footprint. In order to make their organization more sustainable, they are using recycled silver, and reducing their current carbon footprint to thirty percent of what it was.
Pandora is also using recycled gold. By doing so, it will only use 1% of the carbon-emitting process required for mining virgin gold. They have strong partnerships with dedicated suppliers who have helped them reach their goals ahead of schedule. By the end of 2024, Pandora will use 100% recycled metals on all new jewelry.
