In 2024, for just $190K, you can own an electric Vertical Takeoff and Landing vehicle or eVTOL. Looks like Pivotal will be the first to market with the eVTOL called The Pivotal Helix. It’s a one-passenger electric aerial vehicle (EAV). As such, it cannot go faster than 63 mph, and it does not require a pilot’s license to operate.
Meanwhile, last month, Joby delivered their eVTOL taxi to Edwards Airfare base as part of their $131 million contract with the Dept of Defense. Next time you look at the sky, it may not be a bird or a plane, but an eVTOL.
