Delta has an ambitious carbon neutrality plan on path to zero-impact aviation. Delta Air Lines’ commitment to carbon neutrality dating from March 2020 onward, is coming to fruition. The Airline is already investing in sustainable aviation fuels (SAF), which are alternatives to fossil fuels. These new fuels are designed to reduce carbon emissions by 80 percent or more. Delta will replace 10% of its fossil jet fuel with SAF by the end of 2030. As the only US airline named in the S&P Global Sustainability Yearbook for 2021, Delta represents change in the Greek alphabet and in the airline industry too.
