For over a hundred years, Ford Motors has been playing a pivotal role in revolutionizing the fossil fuel auto industry right from its Highland Park, Michigan factory. The legendary automaker has continued that legacy for another 100 years in the emerging EV industry from the new EV manufacturing and battery plants now under construction in West Tennessee and Kentucky.

The facilities will be 100% sustainable and will create up to 11,000 jobs when they become operational in 2025. In addition, they will enable Ford to achieve its annual EV production goal of 2 million units globally by late 2026. As Executive Chair Bill Ford said, “Aspiring to have 100% renewable energy, zero waste to landfill and reusing water means we can help make sure our planet is in it for the long haul.” Heck ya!
