The reusable rocket developer Stoke Space raised $9.1 million in seed funding in February 2021 and another $65 million in the Series A funding round in December. It plans to begin testing its second stage reusable launch vehicle at the end of 2022.

Breakthrough Energy Ventures led the Series A funding, alongside new investors Spark Capital, Point72 Ventures, Toyota Ventures, Alameda Research, and Global Founders Capital. Existing investors in Stoke Space also participated in the funding round, including NFX, MaC Ventures, Alexis Ohanian’s Seven Seven Six, and Joe Montana’s Liquid2. Up, up and away…
