When crazy happens, we must take notice. Wisconsin legislators have worked on a bill to help remediate PFAS contamination and at the last minute, certain state senators with the biggest polluters in their districts have insisted that those polluters be granted immunity.
The bill is SB 312.The $125 million that was to be used to clean up the contaminated groundwater has now been corrupted. Citizens will not be able to receive corrective and preventative funding to keep their communities safe from environmental pollution. Key takeaway: Voting for the right legislators is critical.
