Chelsey Bartrum is a Los Angeles-based jeweler who has been making jewelry using sustainable practices for years. Starling, her first jewelry venture, launched in 2015 to make jewelry with post-consumer recycled materials.

Bartrum also wanted to restore the family tradition of passing down jewels, which has declined over the years. Her new sustainable venture, Heirloom Revival, helps people turn their old jewelry into new favorites. Bartrum opened Heirloom Revival in September, a short distance from Starling in Los Angeles. She believes circularity to be the future of the jewelry industry. “It’s our responsibility as citizens of Earth to do this. Our mission is: buy less, make more.”
