Environmentalists across the globe have been handed a hard-fought battle. Panama’s President Cortizo Cohen signed a law in March that permits any Panamanian citizen to defend sea turtles. This gives wonderful protection to the creatures and holds governments, citizens, and corporations accountable if they violate the well-being of sea turtles.
With the signing of this law, wild animals are provided the legal right to exist and to flourish.
