Another eco-friendly, vegan, faux-leather material is taking the $80 billion leather industry to task. Adrián López Velarde and Marte Cázarez, both from Mexico, are making cactus into leather and named it “desserto”. The fashion industry is the second largest polluter in the world, so unless we all join a nudist colony, we need these eco-friendly products pronto.
