Brazil did it and now the EU is considering its own plan of actions. At the end of August, Brazil blocked X from existence for violating laws in the country after repeated warnings. Businesses who say they support law and order don’t always walk the walk as we can clearly see.
On October 8, X was brought back online in Brazil. The EU has the Digital Service Act (DSA) that is being violated by X. For months the EU has informed X that it is in violation of their verification requirements. The EU is considering a 6% fine of all Elon Musk’s global businesses annual revenue. Does tech create more problems than it solves?
