With the first Tesla Model 3 launching in 2017, the iconic EV has held up very well for seven years. The refreshed model was designed under the code name “Project Highland” and was recently released to the European market. The exterior front was slightly redesigned to be more aerodynamic to increase battery range. The red color was changed to Ultra Red and is now more vibrant.
Inside the EV is where more changes were made. In the backseat area, there is now an 8″ touchscreen and the seats have more cushioning. The interior is quieter, the bluetooth performance is improved and there are now 17 speakers, adding 3 to the earlier Model 3. The front seats are ventilated and the truck space increased by 33 liters, or about 1 cubic foot. The refreshed version has not been launched in North America yet.
