The microplastics (MPs) that appear in our lives come from plastic packaging and other materials, such as synthetic clothing fibers. Friction when laundering your clothes causes more microplastics to be created, so try doing less laundry. Use cold water temperature whenever possible, and use laundry strips/sheets instead of liquid detergent. Add a water filter to your washing machine to eliminate almost 90% of MPs.
