Natural Capital Exchange (NCX), employs satellite imagery and A.I. to fight climate change. The climate tech company maps trees and measures the amount of carbon the trees absorb daily. It also offers a marketplace that connects landowners with net-zero companies who buy the carbon credit. Backed by Marc Benioff, CEO of Salesforce, NCX’s initiative offers landowners value for their trees and gives net-zero companies access to high-quality carbon credits to offset their emissions.
NCX recently raised $50 million to develop more management tools and expanded its operations outside the U.S. to offer more trees a fighting chance.
