It’s very possible that cannabis may soon become federally legal in U.S. Medicare Plans. To discover what Medicare recipients think about health insurance plans covering cannabis products and treatments, MedicarePlans.com conducted an online survey.
The study involved 1,250 Medicare recipients and found that most recipients support the idea. For example, 1 in 5 (21%) Medicare recipients currently use medical cannabis, while 23% have used it before. However, 38% of those who use medical cannabis disapproved of the idea as they feared that it could hike the price. So, let there be no doubt that cannabis is an effective medicine for many.
