Tesla has been crowned the king of EV charging. See the June 19 issue of AGREEN1 for details on how this happened. As of today, four “mobility” manufacturers are already all in with Tesla’s charging networks and will also adopt the NACS plug. Ford, GM, Rivian, and Polestar/Volvo have agreed to adopt Tesla’s charging technology.
Three other mobility manufacturers are considering adoption as well: Hyundai, Stellantis, and Volkswagen. Those three alone represent 27 auto brands. If they agree, this will create a tipping point for universal acceptance that Tesla is the global standard charging network.
