The smallest state in the US is making huge sales of legalized cannabis. Adult use cannabis sales were first allowed on December 1, 2022. In that first year, sales exceeded $100 million. The average transaction was slightly over $26, and with a population of just over 1 million, it is clear that legalized cannabis is a huge success for the Ocean State.
