A classic vehicle with roots from the 1960s is making a comeback very soon. They’re calling it 2025 ID. Buzz Electric van. It will have 10 times more horsepower than the original versions. No more slowly creeping up a steep incline. The ICE models were very noisy with the engine in the rear of the vehicle, and the EV version will be so quiet.
With a charging range of 240-250 miles, this could be a magical experience for those who like car camping and fun explorations. VW is not taking reservations for the clean energy van. They should be available at VW dealers by late summer/early fall 2024.
