A new and unlikely transdisciplinary program will soon be offered at Roanoke College in Virginia. The Bachelor of Science will be awarded to students who complete this new major, called the Cannabis Studies Program. The program will be offered this fall.
As the first college in the state to offer a degree in the cannabis industry, Roanoke College understands the complexity of the cannabis plant and the enormous potential it can offer from wellness and financial perspectives. Pew Research identified that an overwhelming 88% of US adults want cannabis to be legal for medical or recreational use.
