If you are pro-legalized cannabis, then Ben & Jerry’s might be your favorite dessert brand. For years, the company has urged state governors and law-makers to release all people who are still in prison for cannabis-related offenses in state where cannabis is now legalized.
The Vermont-based ice cream phenoms are encouraging supporters to contact their state governors to call for clemency, to sign petitions to free people who are still in jail for cannabis crimes, to increase awareness using the #420ForFreedom on all their social media, and to attend the Cannabis Unity Week of Action, held April 29 through May 1 in Washington DC.
