Plant-based recreational drinks have reached another milestone in American sports. The Major League Baseball (MLB) also recently announced that baseball’s Chicago Cubs reached a sponsorship deal with MYND DRINKS. As a result, Chicago Cubs will offer CBD drinks produced by MYND DRINKS during games and display signs advertising the plant-based beverage brand at its Wrigley Stadium. The deal, reached on April 7, also gives Chicago Cubs international marketing rights to MYND products in the U.K. for the 2023 baseball regular season.
Back on October 17, AGREEN announced that Charlotte’s Web became the official CBD for MLB. Prior to that, BioSteel maker of plant-based sports hydration drinks, and became the official hydration sponsor of the National Hockey League, National Hockey League Players’ Association (NHLPA) and the US Soccer.
