Since the State of Washington legalized cannabis in November 2012, it has invested time, effort, and money into growing the sector. According to the United States Department of Agriculture, cannabis is now the fourth most valuable legal crop in Washington. The cannabis sector contributed approximately $1.85 billion to Washington’s gross state product in 2020.
